 who are you?

Hi, I'm Helen, I live in Minneapolis and I make all this stuff on my little work desk. This was born out of my love of shiny accessories, genre fiction, and heavy metal. And with apologies to my mother in law, I just never had the patience for knitting.

 The shop name comes from Naomi Novik's Temeraire series (basically the Napoleonic wars with dragons). Excidium is a dragon in the British Aerial Corps, his name means "destruction" in Latin, and he can spit acid. I unfortunately cannot spit acid, but it's a pretty cool name.

as far as my other hobbies, I'm also an okayish martial artist and a pretty good cook.

do you take commissions?

usually no, because I have a day job and other hobbies and can't promise I'll get something ambitious done in a timely manner, but if it's something simple, maybe! drop me a line.

I am somewhat more generously portioned. Can you size a piece up a little bit?

You bet! Just drop me a line and let me know how much more chain you'll need. No charge, because unless you are the size of an actual horse it won't take me that long or use that many more rings.

where do you source your supplies?

The Ring Lord, Ogre Rings, Joshua Diliberto, and random eBay finds.
